Litton Farm’s estate stretches to nearly 180 acres mainly comprising of a magical valley with streams, ponds, woodland and paths, which are ideal for strolls, picnics or simply having fun with the family. The views from the farmhouse stretch some 60-miles to Skilgate in one direction and Dartmoor in the other.
At the far end of the valley, a wooden gate in the ancient stone boundary wall, which leads on to Halscombe Moor gives guests access to miles of moorland walks to places such as Winsford, Tarr Steps or Withypool, where you can make use of the little village shop or have a meal at the Royal Oak.
From the top of the farm drive a level half mile walk to the left will take you to the Sportsmans Inn, a lovely pub serving great food and local Exmoor ales. A two mile walk in the opposite direction will lead you to Landacre Bridge, one of Exmoor’s most beautiful spots and perfect for paddling in the river or having a picnic.
